This is going to be a fun show where we invite some great musical friends on our show who may not be the usual Check Ca fare. Our show tonight will introduce them to those who aren't familiar with them yet, but will also be a chance to do some fun radio too! Who knows where this week's adventure will take us... Hey, hey, hey... local hip hop artist Daily (formerly known as The Original Daily) is putting on his annual fundraiser - 5 Shows, 1 Day Part II. Daily will be bringing his vibe around town all day on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 5 different spots starting at 1:00 p.m. until the last show at 10:30. This annual event is fundraiser in support of the Canadian Hearing Society.

Sometimes, folks send us fun and interesting music. Lots of fun to hear the creative works of independent artists in Manitoba and around Canada, and even beyond. What a fun Festival! Hope those in the 'Peg enjoyed the 2016 Winnipeg International Jazz Festival. Lots of great shows.
