Local jazz music Dig! magazine initiated this project to showcase local composers and arrangers which also highlighting some of the best jazz players in Winnipeg. Okay, we give you permission to miss the show this week! Amber Epp is known as a unique jazz and latin vocalist and composer, and also as a member of Trio Bembe, Papa Mambo and Meta-Clave. This week's performance will premiere some new music from Amber Epp. Steve Kirby, Larry Roy, and Scott Senior are also sharing the stage. Keep an eye out for Amber Epp's solo show in the Winnipeg Jazz Festival.

Very cool evening with featuring a number of local artists and bands, including Super Duty Tough Work - or SDTW. SDTW combines urban beats, hip hop, jazz, groove, and funk. And on top of the live music, there's also the live art installation. A great way to finish your Friday night!

Ministers of Cool combine their superb rock/pop covers with a horn trio from Dirty Catfish Brass Band (or DCBB) for a night of music from the band Chicago. Is there nothing Dirty Catfish Brass Band can't do? Guess not! Check out DCBB @ Shannon's Pub on May 30 too.
