This week (March 9) we are grateful for a visit from Jon Gordon, saxophonist, educator, performer, composer, and arranger, based at the University of Manitoba Jazz Studies Program. Jon is an established artist that has worked with artists around the world. You may have heard him on Check Ça with his work on Will Bonness's latest CD, Halcyon (I highly recommend the lovely sax solo on Puddles). Tune in this Friday night for a live interview, samples of Jon's music, and some choice jazz sax goodies presented by Mr. Gordon.
