Hey, Hey, y'all! Happy 2017! Hope everyone enjoyed fun and safe festivities to ring in the new year. 2017 is off to a great staff with some nice shows so far and more to come.

Shout out to Joanna Majoko, Super Duty Tough Work, and Dirty Catfish Brass Band who've had some great shows to kick it in 2017. If you haven't checked out these artists yet, we highly recommend their live shows and recordings!

Just want to put a few things on the radar.

Come Kick It | Live Soul Music January 26 @ Forth (Winnipeg)
Live Soul and hip hop music featuring MC Woke and a live ensemble (Marisolle Negash, Brendan Kinley and Julian Bradford). It's gonna be good.

That's right, it's back. If you enjoyed it last year and the year before, you know it's the place to be. Check it out at The Good Will (Winnipeg). Highly suggest buying a ticket in advance.

BU Big Band featuring Rasar Amani February 4 @ SUDS (Brandon)
The Big Band at Brandon University under direction of Michael Cain will host Las Vegas emcee Rasar Amani. Check out his work with The Lique ( . This promises to be a great show with a live MC with a big band playing R&B, soul, jazz, and hip hop music. If you're not in Brandon, it's definitely worth the drive!
