They got the jazz, they got the funk!

Well last night Brandon University Big Band (www.brandonu.ca/music/jazz-studies/) brought down the house at the West End Cultural Centre presenting traditional and contemporary big band jazz, afrobeat, hip hop, dance & pop, and other musical treats. Students in the band and guests singers from BU offered performances that were skillful and entertaining under direction of Brandon School of Jazz Professor Michael Cain. And if that wasn't enough, the audience was also treated to Winnipeg singer Flo with the band. A show to be remembered! 


Flo will also be appearing with the Michael Cain Band on   April 25, 2014 at the Park Theatre. The show will also feature University of Manitoba School of Jazz vocalist Joanna Majoko.
